The Tivoli is one of Louis Vuitton’s softer takes on its Monogram classics, defined by its gathered sides, pleated construction and distinctive domed silhouette. Named after the Italian town of Tivoli, the design brings a more feminine, relaxed shape to the house’s signature canvas. Launched for Fall 2008, it became something of an understated hit, developing a strong following and known to have store waitlists despite receiving relatively little of the usual “it-bag” marketing.

The style was also featured in Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2007 campaign imagery with Scarlett Johansson and Laetitia Casta, before its wider launch.

The Tivoli was discontinued around 2014 and has since become a sought-after second-hand style with recent resale and auction results showing continued demand for the Tivoli PM size in particular.

Size + Condition

Material: Signature Louis Vuitton Monogram coated canvas with natural cowhide leather trim and gold-tone hardware.

Features: Soft, structured silhouette with distinctive inverted pleating, double leather top handles, zip-top closure with Louis Vuitton pull, protective metal feet and a spacious brown textile-lined interior with multiple slip pockets. The natural leather detailing develops a characteristic patina with age.

Era: Louis Vuitton, circa 2011. The Tivoli was introduced in the late 2000s and discontinued in 2014. Serial no: SD4191 (year 2011)

Condition: Very Good

This bag presents in very good vintage condition overall, with minimal signs of previous use. Specific notes are as follows:

Monogram canvas is in very good condition, showing very faint to no visible signs of marking or wear.
Base and corners have been well preserved, with minimal signs of use.
Gold-tone hardware is in good condition, with only minor, faint scratching.
Natural vachetta leather is in good condition throughout, with no notable marking or staining beyond the expected light ageing and patina associated with vintage Louis Vuitton leather.
Metal zip is in very good condition, with the gold-tone finish showing minimal signs of age or wear.
Handles show mild darkening beneath the upper sections, consistent with natural use, but no significant wear.
Interior is exceptionally clean, showing very light signs of use with no obvious staining.

Once your bag is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow it from our hands to yours. We ship worldwide; international buyers may be liable for import duties or taxes levied by their destination country at the point of arrival.

If your bag isn't quite right, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Returns must be sent back in the exact condition received, with all accompanying items (dust bag, authenticity card and packaging where supplied), and with the EBV London security tag attached and intact. Return postage is arranged by you using a fully tracked and insured service — we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK or DHL Express internationally.
