Balenciaga’s City bag emerged in the early 2000s under Nicolas Ghesquière, becoming one of the decade’s defining It-bags. Favoured by celebrities including Kate Moss, the design challenged traditional luxury handbag conventions with its slouchy silhouette, distressed leather and deliberately understated hardware.

The Graffiti iteration takes this rebellious aesthetic further, layering hand-painted-style lettering and street-art-inspired motifs over the house’s signature distressed leather. The design reflects the growing influence of streetwear and urban culture on luxury fashion, transforming the City from a cult favourite into a statement piece.

Material: Black distressed goatskin leather with multicolour graffiti detailing and aged silver-tone metal hardware.

Features: Signature City silhouette, double leather top handles with woven detailing, detachable adjustable shoulder strap, front zip pocket, zip-top closure, signature studded hardware, leather tassels and original detachable mirror.

Condition: Very Good to Good

This bag presents in very good to good overall condition, with light signs of previous use consistent with its distressed design. Specific notes are as follows:

The black goatskin shows natural creasing and light signs of use throughout, consistent with the intentionally aged finish of the design. No notable flaws are present.
The corners show very mild signs of wear, with no significant scuffing.
Some areas of the graffiti print display mild fading (most notably the top left yellow corner)
All metal hardware is in good condition, showing only faint signs of wear.
All zips are fully functional.
The interior shows mild signs of previous use, with no notable flaws.
Original detachable mirror is included and shows light use to the mirror surface.
The original detachable shoulder strap is included. It shows more noticeable creasing where it has been folded and stored, but no visible marking to the leather.

Once your bag is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow it from our hands to yours. We ship worldwide; international buyers may be liable for import duties or taxes levied by their destination country at the point of arrival.

If your bag isn't quite right, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Returns must be sent back in the exact condition received, with all accompanying items (dust bag, authenticity card and packaging where supplied), and with the EBV London security tag attached and intact. Return postage is arranged by you using a fully tracked and insured service — we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK or DHL Express internationally.
