Introduced for Spring/Summer 2017 under Karl Lagerfeld, the Gabrielle was named after the house’s founder, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, and designed to offer a more relaxed, contemporary alternative to the house’s traditional structured handbags.

Launched with a campaign featuring Cara Delevingne, Kristen Stewart and Pharrell Williams, the bag quickly established its own identity within Chanel’s repertoire. Its signature combination of a slouchy quilted body, structured base and mixed-metal chain strap reinterpreted the house’s classic codes through a distinctly modern lens. A defining design of the late Lagerfeld era, the Gabrielle remains a sought-after alternative to Chanel’s more traditional flap bags.

Material: Black quilted lambskin leather with a structured leather base and mixed gold-tone and ruthenium-finish metal hardware.

Features: Signature slouchy silhouette, diamond quilting, zip-top closure, interwoven leather and chain shoulder strap, leather zip pull with interlocking CC detailing and original Chanel chain hardware.

This bag presents in very good overall condition, with minimal signs of previous use. Specific notes are as follows:

The lambskin is in excellent condition throughout, with only the natural slouching and light creasing characteristic of the design.
The structured leather base shows minor signs of wear.
All metal hardware is in excellent condition throughout, with minimal visible signs of use.
The strap is in very good condition, with only very minor creasing to the leather sections.
The interior shows only very light signs of previous use.
The metal CC detailing on the zip pull remains in good condition.

Please note a small cut is present on the zip pull in the leather woven through the metal chain, as pictured in the product imagery.

All orders are dispatched from London within 48 hours of purchase via DHL Express — fully tracked, signature-required on delivery, and insured for the full value of your piece. Once your bag is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow it from our hands to yours. We ship worldwide; international buyers may be liable for import duties or taxes levied by their destination country at the point of arrival.

If your bag isn't quite right, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Returns must be sent back in the exact condition received, with all accompanying items (dust bag, authenticity card and packaging where supplied), and with the EBV London security tag attached and intact. Return postage is arranged by you using a fully tracked and insured service — we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK or DHL Express internationally.
