Lagerfeld’s Sport Line was a deliberate provocation: taking the world’s most revered couture house and dressing it in the language of athletics. Perforated rubber, nylon webbing, technical mesh — in place of tweed and gilt chain. The Sport Line didn’t soften the contrast, it leaned into it. This duffle makes the point plainly: light grey nylon sits against a structured rubber base panel, the CC rendered not in metal but in moulded rubber on a stark black ground — graphic, industrial, unmistakably Chanel. Lagerfeld had done something similar with the Lapin fur Sport pieces of the same period, but this duffle is the starker, more utilitarian end of that experiment. Now among the most sought-after pieces from the era, as early-2000s athleisure luxury has its long-overdue moment in the secondary market.

Material: Two-tone construction: iridescent silver-grey satin nylon upper body with a black perforated rubber lower panel, black logo-embossed nylon webbing straps, and gunmetal hardware throughout.

Features: Oversized raised rubber CC logo plaque to the front panel, dual flat ‘CHANEL’-embossed nylon webbing shoulder straps with black plastic clip adjusters, a curved top zip main closure with a CC-engraved gunmetal pull, a secondary zip pocket to the top panel, and a full-length zip to the base. Interior finished in black nylon with a zip pocket and a woven ‘CHANEL® / Made in Italy’ label.

Era: Produced in the early-to-mid 2000s (Karl Lagerfeld Era, approx. 2003–2005).

Iridescent satin nylon body is in good overall condition with light surface creasing throughout; a small mark is noted above the CC logo plaque — visible in the product imagery.
Black perforated rubber lower panel shows signs of age-related surface oxidation throughout — a known characteristic of aged rubber — with some areas showing a lighter, slightly matte surface patina; no structural damage or cracking noted.
Rubber CC logo plaque is intact and well-adhered; light surface dirt is present, consistent with age.
Base of bag is in good condition with no obvious structural wear or damage.
‘CHANEL’-embossed nylon webbing straps are in very good condition with no fraying; plastic clip hardware shows no signs of damage.
CC-engraved zip pulls and all gunmetal hardware are in very good condition; all zips function smoothly.
Interior appears unused and is in near-pristine condition; includes a single interior zip pocket.

Once your bag is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow it from our hands to yours. We ship worldwide; international buyers may be liable for import duties or taxes levied by their destination country at the point of arrival.

If your bag isn't quite right, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Returns must be sent back in the exact condition received, with all accompanying items (dust bag, authenticity card and packaging where supplied), and with the EBV London security tag attached and intact. Return postage is arranged by you using a fully tracked and insured service — we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK or DHL Express internationally.
