Designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997, the Baguette was fashion's first true It Bag — named for the way Parisian women tuck bread under their arm, it rewrote the rules of what a luxury bag could be. The Mamma is its more generous sibling: the same iconic FF buckle clasp and single-strap silhouette, scaled up for a shoulder-worn ease that made it a fixture of the early 2000s.

Of all the materials in the original Baguette canon, suede is the most elusive — softer and more seasonal than canvas or leather, it was produced in smaller runs and is now among the hardest configurations to find in good condition. Hot pink suede specifically is a rarity: bold enough to have been produced in limited numbers even at the time, and rarer still in original condition today. Vintage Baguettes have seen value appreciation of 75–100% in recent years, and in specialist circles the suede iterations — particularly in statement colourways — consistently trade above their leather equivalents.

Material: Hot pink suede body with tonal smooth leather trim and gold-tone hardware.

Features: Suede flap body with tonal smooth leather trim, signature gold-tone FF Baguette buckle clasp with leather backing, single adjustable flat leather shoulder strap with gold-tone buckle hardware. Interior finished in vibrant red satin lining with an interior zip pocket.

Condition: Good

This bag presents in good pre-owned condition. As is characteristic of suede pieces from this era, some signs of storage and age are present:

Hot pink suede body is generally in good condition. Some creasing and softening of the suede is visible at the corners of the bag, consistent with long-term storage; this is typical of vintage suede and does not affect the overall appearance significantly.
Mild grey discolouration is present across parts of the suede body; it is subtle and not immediately prominent but is noted for transparency.
Base and reverse of the bag are in good condition with no obvious damage or significant wear.
Leather hardware — including the FF buckle backing and shoulder strap — shows mild signs of storage creasing and age-consistent wear; no obvious scratches.
Gold-tone metal hardware is in generally good condition with no obvious scratches; natural aged patina is present on the FF buckle clasp, consistent with the bag's vintage provenance.
Red satin interior lining is in good condition and shows minimal signs of use.
Serial number label is not legible; the number appears to have worn off over time, which is common in bags of this vintage era.

Once your bag is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow it from our hands to yours. We ship worldwide; international buyers may be liable for import duties or taxes levied by their destination country at the point of arrival.

If your bag isn't quite right, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Returns must be sent back in the exact condition received, with all accompanying items (dust bag, authenticity card and packaging where supplied), and with the EBV London security tag attached and intact. Return postage is arranged by you using a fully tracked and insured service — we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK or DHL Express internationally.
