A Y2K Cult Classic: The Denim Baggy

Introduced in 2005 under Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Denim collection brought a distinctly early-2000s sensibility to the house’s signature codes, reworking its iconic monogram into washed denim. The Baggy became one of the collection’s standout designs, embracing the era’s obsession with denim, oversized silhouettes and casual luxury.

Seen on celebrities including Jessica Simpson, the style has since found a new audience amid the revival of Y2K fashion. Its resurgence was further fuelled by Louis Vuitton’s 2024 LV Remix collection, which revisited the house’s archival denim designs. With its slouchy shape, multiple front pockets and distinctive monogram denim, the Baggy captures a defining moment in Marc Jacobs-era Louis Vuitton.

Size + Condition

Material: Blue Monogram denim with natural vachetta leather trim and gold-tone metal hardware.

Features: Slouchy shoulder-bag silhouette, adjustable leather shoulder strap, signature Monogram denim, two front flap pockets with gold-tone clasp closures, front zip pocket and zip-top closure.

Condition: Good

This bag presents in good overall vintage condition, with signs of previous use consistent with its age. Specific notes are as follows:

The denim is in good condition throughout, with no fraying, tears or notable wear to the corners. A very minor yellow mark is present on the bottom base, as shown in the product imagery.
Both denim pockets are in very good condition.
The leather remains in good condition throughout, with no significant staining to the base or front zip feature.
The strap shows more noticeable signs of use, including pen marks on the underside and darker lines where the buckle has previously passed through the adjustment holes.
All hardware is in good condition, with no significant scratching or visible damage.
The zip is in very good working condition.
The yellow lining shows slight signs of soiling, including some discolouration to the interior Louis Vuitton label.

Once your bag is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow it from our hands to yours. We ship worldwide; international buyers may be liable for import duties or taxes levied by their destination country at the point of arrival.

If your bag isn't quite right, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Returns must be sent back in the exact condition received, with all accompanying items (dust bag, authenticity card and packaging where supplied), and with the EBV London security tag attached and intact. Return postage is arranged by you using a fully tracked and insured service — we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK or DHL Express internationally.
