This is Prada's take on the doctor bag: a boxy, rigid-framed silhouette with a wide gaping mouth, pleated sides, and rolled top handles, borrowed from the traditional physician's bag. Prada made this shape across a few materials in the late 2000s, but raffia suits it best - the frame keeps the weave crisp and structured rather than slouchy, so it reads as a polished city bag as much as an easy summer holiday piece.

The crisp white leather trim and silver hardware sharpen that natural raffia against a cleaner, dressier finish, and the twin buckled straps at the front, echoed from Prada's nylon and leather versions of the same shape, add a bit of structure and hardware detail rather than reading purely decorative. It's the kind of bag that was clearly designed for resort dressing without giving up Prada's usual precision of construction.

Material: Beige woven raffia body with ivory/white smooth calfskin leather trim throughout (frame edges, corners, and base). Silver-tone hardware.

Features: Rigid top frame opening with pleated detailing at the sides, dual rolled white leather top handles, twin adjustable leather straps threaded through silver buckles at the front, silver-tone triangle logo plate to the front, protective feet at the base.

This bag presents in good to excellent condition overall. Specific notes are as follows:

Raffia body is in excellent condition, showing only very minor signs of use.
White/ivory leather trim is in generally very good condition, with a small orange mark visible between the straps at the opening of the bag, minor specs on the left side leather panel and very minor scuffing to the corners. All markings are visible in product imagery.
All metal and hardware is in excellent condition.
Base of the bag is in very good condition.
Leather straps and buckle details are in very good condition.
Wood and metal logo plate is in very good condition with no visible signs of wear.
Interior of the bag appears unused.

Once your bag is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow it from our hands to yours. We ship worldwide; international buyers may be liable for import duties or taxes levied by their destination country at the point of arrival.

If your bag isn't quite right, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Returns must be sent back in the exact condition received, with all accompanying items (dust bag, authenticity card and packaging where supplied), and with the EBV London security tag attached and intact. Return postage is arranged by you using a fully tracked and insured service — we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK or DHL Express internationally.
